Brother bear are you there?

We are estranged siblings

Coz we haven’t spoken or seen

Each other since I was a Teen

I saw you last in that dreadful place

You seemed reformed and showed good face

Yet you still struggled with your past

Coz as soon as you got out, your freedom didn’t last

As you got caught up in a drive by

Leaving you humbled and tried

Grateful that you hadn’t died

But losing your limbs

You’re now confined

To  a wheelchair

That has your ego no longer “up there”

As you now stand in a seat

Humbled -without feet

I miss you

Forever your sister
